Private school in Nepal

Over the last three decades, Nepal has seen a massive surge in private schools. In Kathmandu, nearly 70% of students attend private schools.

These private schools provide students with a much higher quality of education than public schools. However, almost all private schools function like profit-oriented firms. There are several private schools in Nepal that have been able to establish themselves as good educational institutions in certain places due to their successful value-based education efforts.

One of the advantages of having a private school in Nepal is that the language of instruction and communication is English. In private schools, everyone is encouraged to speak in English, while in the public schools, Nepali is used. Private schools have more resources compared to the public ones. Teacher motivation is also greater in private counterparts.

Some of the drawbacks of private school in Nepal are high tuition fees due to privatization of education. It has also resulted in large class sizes, less qualified and part-time teachers. Most of the resources are devoted to marketing in attractive school buildings and well-equipped classrooms, but they promote fixed-term contracts, low wages and long working hours for teachers.

The existence of private school and the public school in Nepal has caused confusion regarding the provision of quality education. The schools should have a holistic approach to adopt to better their institutions and education system.

Both of these examples of conflict are external conflicts. Meaning the main protagonist is fighting against an outside force.

The first one is character vs. nature or man vs. nature because the harsh weather is what’s preventing Don from being able to enjoy his camping trip.

The second one is character vs. society. The government (the mayor) has outlawed books and in turn the character has to create a underground society to enjoy such material.

The main issue concerning Shondra's reading in this class is her difficulty in concentrating and retaining information, leading to a lack of comprehension even after completing a chapter. So option C. Shondra finds the reading boring, is the correct answer.

The statement "Shondra finds the reading boring" is not one of Shondra's major issues concerning this class and her reading. While it is mentioned in the description, it is not highlighted as a significant concern.

The main issues mentioned are Shondra's inability to concentrate or stay awake while reading, her lack of comprehension even after completing a chapter, and the overwhelming amount of material that needs to be covered.

These factors indicate that Shondra's major challenges lie in her ability to engage with the material and retain the information, rather than simply finding the reading boring.

Which line of dialogue spoken by mr. Dussel in the diary of anne frank, act i, most clearly indicates the possibility of conflict?.

Answers

"Every night she twists and turns," is the phrase stated by Mr. Dussel in Act I of The Diary of Anne Frank that most obviously suggests that there may be trouble.

The diary Anne Frank kept while living in hiding with her family for two years during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands is collected in The Diary of a Young Girl, commonly referred to as The Diary of Anne Frank. Anne Frank passed away from typhus in the Bergen-Belsen detention camp in 1945 after the family was captured in 1944.

Miep Gies and Bep Voskuijl were able to get their hands on Anne's journals. Just after the Second World War ended, Miep handed them to Otto Frank, the father of Anne, who was the lone survivor of the family. Since then, the diary has been released in more than 70 other languages.

In the revised beginning to her diary, Anne emphasised her desire for one person she could refer to as her truest friend—someone she could entrust her most private thoughts and feelings to. She realised that while she had a large number of "friends" and admirers, she had no true pals with whom she could be completely honest.

what was so significant and novel after the decision in Wickard
v. Filburn..

Answers

The noteworthy and innovative development after Wickard v. Filburn was the federal government's expanded jurisdiction to regulate intrastate activities that indirectly affect interstate trade.

Wickard v. Filburn (1942) enlarged the Commerce Clause and the federal government's jurisdiction to regulate interstate commerce. The Supreme Court found that the federal government might regulate or restrict activities that individually have little impact on interstate commerce but collectively have a large economic impact.

Ohio farmer Roscoe Filburn surpassed his government-imposed wheat allotment for personal consumption. The Court ruled that Congress could control municipal activities that indirectly affected interstate trade, even if Filburn's extra wheat production was for personal consumption.

The judgment expanded the trade Clause, giving the federal government more power to regulate activities beyond interstate trade. Wickard v. Filburn empowered Congress to control a wide range of local or isolated actions that, when combined, could impact the national economy. This broad understanding of federal power to regulate commerce has shaped state-federal relations in the US.

Write a letter to the head of your school suggest in two ways of improving upon discipline in your school

Answers

Answer:

Explanation: B

Hello [name of school director] , I have been thinking about this for a while and I have at least two ways of improving the behavior and discipline of students at our school.
The first way is we need to really focus on our willpower. Sometimes students take advantage of teachers because they aren’t so strict. In this case I think if students should receive a warning. Let’s say a student had inappropriate language, not to extreme though, they would receive warning 1. After the student received a warning 1 and continued to have inappropriate language they would receive a detention.
Even though this may cause students to be angry and upset we need to crack down on behavior or nothing will happen.
My next idea is rewarding good behavior. The idea I have is every teacher will have a list of the students in his/her class and every time the student does something good they will get a check mark. Every time a student gets 10 check mark they can get a good prize. Students don’t want stamps or stickers or something like that. I think if the students were to get candy bars, homework passes and maybe 5-10 dollar gift cards they would actually be well mannered and behave.
The concept of this prize idea is to reward students with prizes they would like so they behave and take pride into being kind.
I hope you take the time and though to take my ideas into consideration.
