How is Bebop different from the big band music that preceded it?

Answers

Answer:

If you mean the anime I have no idea

Explanation:

While many aspects of swing were imported, such as the triplet-based swing feel and a proclivity for the blues, bebop musicians played tunes at much faster tempos. In bebop, rhythm section players were no longer simply time-keepers, but interacted with the soloist and added their own embellishments.

The first step in her downward course was in her ceasing to instruct me. She now commenced to practice her husband's precepts. She finally became even more violent in her opposition than her husband himself. She was not satisfied with simply doing as well as he had commanded; she seemed anxious to do better. Nothing seemed to make her more angry than to see me with a newspaper. She seemed to think that here lay the danger. I have had her rush at me with a face made all up of fury, and snatch from me a newspaper, in a manner that fully revealed her apprehension. She was an apt woman; and a little experience soon demonstrated, to her satisfaction, that education and slavery were incompatible with each other

Compare and Contrast Nixon Video and Article
Submit a 4–5 paragraph essay that compares and contrasts 1973 Nixon Press Conference Video & Transcript and President Richard M. Nixon: Re-election, Second Term, and Watergate. Draw conclusions from both texts to make your points. Support your statements with quotations and evidence from the texts. Write using clear and varied sentences.
Make sure you review the grading rubric so that you understand how you will be graded.

Answers

The above question wants to analyze your writing skill. For that reason, I cannot write your essay, but I will show you how to write it.

First, you will have to read the texts and watch the videos indicated in the question, to understand well the nuances of Nixon's words in all situations.

You can search for articles analyzing these press conferences and Nixon's role in them for more information and a better understanding of the cases.

After that, you can start your rehearsal.

Essay structure

Introduction: Introduce the subject of the essay.

Body: Write three paragraphs. In these paragraphs, you will highlight what the press conference represented, show your comparisons between them and the media you analyzed, in addition to showing how Nixon established himself in each one. Do not forget to present data and evidence for the information presented.

Conclusion: Summarize all the information, emphasize the importance of the comparisons you make, and show how important an understanding of this subject is.

The 1973 Nixon Press Conference Video & Transcript and the article titled "President Richard M. Nixon: Re-election, Second Term, and Watergate" provide two different perspectives on the Watergate scandal. The video shows Nixon addressing the press about the scandal, while the article provides a more comprehensive overview of the events leading up to the scandal and its aftermath.

The video and the article both highlight Nixon's attempts to distance himself from the scandal. In the video, Nixon states, "I had no knowledge whatever of the Watergate break-in," while the article notes that Nixon's aides were involved in the cover-up and that Nixon himself tried to obstruct the investigation. However, the article provides more detailed evidence to support these claims, including transcripts of Nixon's conversations and testimony from witnesses.

Another difference between the two texts is their tone. The video shows Nixon speaking calmly and confidently, denying any wrongdoing. In contrast, the article takes a more critical tone, calling Nixon's actions "unprecedented" and "a betrayal of the public trust." The article also emphasizes the impact of the scandal on Nixon's presidency, noting that it ultimately led to his resignation.

Despite these differences, both the video and the article provide important insights into the Watergate scandal. The video shows Nixon's attempts to defend himself and his administration, while the article provides a more comprehensive overview of the events leading up to the scandal and its aftermath. Together, these texts offer a complex portrait of one of the most significant political scandals in American history.

In conclusion, the 1973 Nixon Press Conference Video & Transcript and the article "President Richard M. Nixon: Re-election, Second Term, and Watergate" provide different perspectives on the Watergate scandal. While the video shows Nixon's attempts to distance himself from the scandal, the article provides a more critical analysis of his actions and their impact on his presidency. By examining both texts, we can gain a more nuanced understanding of this pivotal moment in American history.

Read the excerpt from Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass.

If any one thing in my experience, more than another, served to deepen my conviction of the infernal character of slavery, and to fill me with unutterable loathing of slaveholders, it was their base ingratitude to my poor old grandmother. She had served my old master faithfully from youth to old age. She had been the source of all his wealth; she had peopled his plantation with slaves; she had become a great-grandmother in his service. She had rocked him in infancy, attended him in childhood, served him through life, and at his death wiped from his icy brow the cold death-sweat, and closed his eyes forever.

Write an argumentative essay supporting or opposing music education in schools.

if u don't answer you're getting reported. btw

Answers

Answer:

MUSIC EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS

Among the various lessons taken at the schools include music and art. This provides an opportunity for the learners to develop their musical and artistry abilities as well as improve their creative capacities. However, there has been controversy over this subject where there have been recommendations that it should be scrapped from the syllabus. In fact, the budgets have been cut where less money is allocated to music studies. This controversial issue of scrapping music from the curriculum is the subject of this essay as it seeks to dissect the rational behind this move. This essay seeks to prove that music should remain a school subject.

First of all, this essay disagrees with the move to scrap music studies since it is a vocation like any other, and can be used by an individual to achieve economic stability. Similarly, music helps to discipline individuals so that they can become productive members of the society (Guth, 1). Therefore, depriving talented individuals the chance to develop their talent can be quite unfair to them. Therefore, the discipline should be promoted rather than put down,

Schools are supposed to nurture the talents and strengths that individuals have. Therefore, these institutions should be geared towards realizing the talents in the learners and nurturing these talents to maturity. Levy (1) observes that performance in music at school was much better than other subjects. This means that probably the individuals are more interested in musical studies. Therefore, rather than scraping it from the syllabus. It would be in the interests of the students if the subject is upheld. Otherwise, the education system would be held responsible for inhibiting the interests of the learners. Schools should not limit the scope of the learners. They should open up the avenues for them to achieve their dreams. As such, scrapping music studies is not a way of opening these channels, but it is a sure way of inhibiting the learners.

Children’s Music Workshop (1) observes that music is academic, physical, emotional and a lifetime affair. As such, when children are involved in musical activities, they benefit in all aspects of their lives. Eliminating music studies from the syllabus is therefore a way of limiting the children’s development activities. This should not be the case. If schools advocate for physical education and physical exercises, then there is no reason as to why music should be sidelined. After all, both do serve the same purpose in the lives of the learners. There is also a logical reason as to why music should be retained. If the famous celebrities and music idols never learnt something about music at school, then it not clear what kind music the world would be having today.

There is also the other side of music studies. In as much as it is important for the development of the students, musical information is available from various sources. Therefore, it does not have to be offered necessarily at school. The individuals can get musical information at home, through the internet, from the radios as well as the televisions. Furthermore, there are music schools that teach music as a profession. As such, it should be taken as a vocational training, not a school subject. Therefore, those interested in music can go through their foundation studies then proceed to take music later as their profession. This eliminates the need for having music as an entertainment in my view>▪︎<

3. Because we have ice cream after dinner, the cats, who really like ice cream, try to reach into our bowls.

Options 1 and 3 effectively combines the three dependent clauses above and make them have clear meaning.
