Create your own animated character, and draft a series of simplistic frames that show some sort of action (for example, a figure walking, a face

transitioning from frowning to smiling, and so on. ) Tile these together into a flipbook and then fan through to see your character come to life.

Describe your work and how you created the flipbook.

Answers

By creating a number of straightforward frames and then quickly flipping through them to provide the impression of motion, I was able to build a flipbook that showed my animated character strolling.

A small green alien cartoon made its way across the page in my flipbook animation. The alien appeared to be dozing off in the first frame as it stood still. The alien started to yawn and blink its eyes while stretching its limbs and legs in the second frame. The extraterrestrial was seen moving forward in the third picture, and in the fourth frame, it was running and jumping while grinning broadly. The extraterrestrial was once more standing still in the fifth frame, its arms outstretched. The extraterrestrial was seen leaping around in the final frame.

I drew each frame for the flipbook animation independently on a sheet of paper. After drawing all six frames, I cut them out and arranged them on a piece of tape, starting with the first frame on the left and finishing with the last frame on the right. After that, I rapidly paged through the flipbook to see my animated character come to life.
