The best story is a well-told tale about something the reader feels is appropriate or significant.

The best stories are more complete and more comprehensive. They contain more verified knowledge from more sources with more perspectives and expertise. They exhibit more enterprise, and more reportorial action.

How to write a good story about nervousness?

This is the big point! Your characters are about to meet the enemy that has been destroying their lives, they just have to walk down a long, imposing hallway to get to his office. The scene is meticulously prepared and eerie, and you’ve thought out exactly how you want to create the suspense as your characters move down the hall to approach the office.

There are a million things that could go wrong: the opponent could be anticipating them, or he may not be inside at all. They could get caught before they even reach the door! When she asked why I was So nervous about going there I didn't know what to say.

And yet, even with all that tension, your characters just don’t seem nervous enough. They simply move down the hallway, possibly thinking casually about how dreadful it is. Despite everything, you can’t create a cohesive collection of fear. You can’t quite convey how they should feel, and you risk taking your readers out of the story if they can’t connect to the main characters

A City Mouse and a Country Mouse were acquaintances (friends), and the Country Mouse one day invited his friend to come and see him at his home in the fields. The City Mouse came, and they sat down to a dinner of roots. The fare was not much to the taste of the guest, and presently he broke out with "My poor dear friend, you live here no better than the ants. Now, you should just see how I fare (live)! You must come and stay with me, and I promise you, you shall live on the fat of the land." So when he returned to the city he took the Country Mouse with him, and showed him into a pantry containing flour and oatmeal and figs and honey and dates. The Country Mouse had never seen anything like it, and sat down to enjoy the luxuries his friend provided: but before they had well begun, the door of the larder opened and someone came in. The two Mice scampered off and hid themselves in a narrow and exceedingly uncomfortable hole. Presently, when all was quiet, they ventured out again; but someone else came in, and off they scuttled again. This was too much for the visitor. "Good-bye," said he, "I'm off. You live in the lap of luxury, I can see, but you are surrounded by dangers; whereas at home I can enjoy my simple dinner of roots and corn in peace."

Answer:

1. The City Mouse visited the Country Mouse and was unimpressed with the roots they were eating. The City Mouse showed the Country Mouse the food which he ate, which was in great luxury and nothing the Country Mouse had ever seen before. But there were many dangers, causing the Country Mouse to leave.

2. These events happened because the City Mouse wanted to prove that life came with more luxuries, but the Country Mouse realized that luxury comes with sacrifices, such as safety.

3.  In this fable, the theme is, “A simple life in peace and safety is preferable to a life of luxury tortured by fear.” It means that the Country Mouse would rather live in the country where it is quiet and simple instead of the nice and luxurious life in the city where it is dangerous.

Answers

The correct answer is:c. graphs a project's NPV over a range of discount rates.

An NPV (Net Present Value) profile is a graphical representation of a project's NPV over a range of discount rates. It illustrates the relationship between the discount rate used to calculate the NPV and the resulting NPV value. The profile helps in assessing the sensitivity of a project's NPV to changes in the discount rate.

By plotting the NPV values on the y-axis and the discount rates on the x-axis, the NPV profile provides a visual representation of how the project's profitability changes as the discount rate varies. It allows decision-makers to analyze the impact of different discount rates on the project's financial viability and helps determine the range of discount rates at which the project remains economically feasible.

Therefore, option c, "graphs a project's NPV over a range of discount rates," accurately describes the purpose and content of an NPV profile. It is an essential tool in investment analysis, enabling decision-makers to evaluate projects based on their expected cash flows and the appropriate discount rate.

As Bart is renting equipment from Lisa, a ski instructor at the resort, he admits to her that he has never been sking before. Lisa tells him clearly that he should take a lesson before he tries to go down any hill, and that he should stay far away from the Black Diamond runs because, as a beginner. he would not be able to get down the mountain without injury. Bart tells Lisa, "Get bent lim not afraid," and heads toward the Black Diamond runs. Unsurprisingly, when Bart tries the Black Diamond, he immediately crashes, breaking both his legs and one of his arms. He then sues the ski resort for negligence.
