In one paragraph, explain how American patriotism inspired the Flying Tigers to act bravely and contribute to US military efforts. Include a brief history of the Flying Tigers. Support your response with evidence in the form of examples, details, and facts

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

The Flying Tigers was the first American volunteer group to work for the Chinese Air Force during 1941 and 1942. There were American pilots from the United States Army Air Corps, Navy and Marine Corps, and their commander was Lee Chennault whom under Presidential Authority, recruited and commanded the group.

The group was set to train in Burma before America´s official entry into World War II. They were formed by Three fighting squadrons and each one had about 30 airplanes. The principal mission for the Flying Tigers was to defend China against the Japanese forces, and stop their advance into China´s territory. All of the volunteers of the group were officially integrated into the Chinese Air Force. Some of the members of the group were civilians but mainly the recruits came from the Us military.

All members of the group had contracts paying them from $250 for an airplane mechanic to $600 for a pilot and about $750 for a commander. Also, they were paid $500 extra for every Japanese plain they destroyed.  The overall pay was an excellent incentive, since it was more than three times what they were making in the US military.

The first combat mission for the group came on December 20th 1941, exactly 12 days after the attack of Pearl Harbor. The group gained notoriety by showing new and innovative tactical victories to defeat the Japanese pilots. When most of the news in America was about defeats caused by the Japanese, they were the starts and gave a lot of hope that the US will soon defeat the Japanese. During its missions the group downed 291 enemy aircraft while only suffering 14 pilot losses.

All Jewish factions are unified in their opposition to Jesus in the Synoptic Gospels, including the chief priests, elders, Pharisees, Herodians, and Sadducees.

Who are Pharisees and Sadducees?

We practice the Pharisees' kind of Judaism today since we are unable to offer sacrifices at the Temple and must attend synagogues instead. The Sadducees were members of the priestly class who were affluent and influential. Unlike the Pharisees, they fully abandoned oral law, and their lives was centered around the Temple.

What were the Pharisees doing wrong?

They were rife with self-indulgence and avarice. They presented themselves as righteous because they strictly followed the law, but in reality, they were not righteous since their outward performance of righteousness concealed an inner world of sinful emotions and thoughts. They were vile to the core.

Who in the Bible denied Jesus?

Even his brothers did not have faith in him, according to the Bible (John 7:5). Jesus was not accepted as the Messiah even by his own family. How did us foreign policy leaders view the soviet union during the early postâ€""world war ii years? as a country that would not affect the united states as a threat to the free world as a potential ally as a competitor but overall harmless

Answers

During the early post-World War II years, US foreign policy leaders viewed the Soviet Union as a potential ally and competitor of the US, but generally they viewed them as harmless.

In the immediate postwar era, with the Cold War just beginning, US foreign policy makers were primarily concerned with securing a lasting peace and security for the world. As such, they sought to contain the Soviet Union, but not to form any animosity towards it, preferring to foster peaceful relations if at all possible.

To this end, the US sought diplomatic agreements and concessions with the Soviet Union, such as the nuclear arms limitation treaties of the 1970s. US foreign policy makers also wanted to make sure that any relations with the Soviet Union did not adversely affect the US and the free world, and indeed, the US saw them as a buffer against other potential threats.

Agricultural communities developed approximately 10,000 years ago in a few small hubs around the world, such as the Fertile Crescent, which is a region of the Near East including parts of modern-day Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Jordan. These were the days when humans began to domesticate plants and animals. By establishing domesticity, families and larger groups were able to build communities and transition from a nomadic hunter-gatherer lifestyle dependent on foraging and hunting for survival.
