Were the Founding Fathers justified in rebelling against the British government and declaring independence? In

Answers

The Founding Fathers were justified in rising against Britain because the government was failing to defend people's rights, taxing colonies, and forcing them to host British soldiers. Britain imposed the first tax on colonists in 1756.

What was the justification for the colonists' rebellion against the British?

Rather than simply supplying protection, Britain grabbed control of the colonies. The Americans had every right to revolt since the British had once again violated their jurisdiction over the colonies. As a result, all of their acts following Britain's wrongdoings were justified.

Their purpose was to establish a division of powers so that no one branch of government could amass greater authority than the other two. To prevent tyranny, a system of checks and balances was established. Remember that colonists came to America to escape the despotic government.

The principle of acquired characteristics states that group of answer choices species don't ever change species change because there is variation inherited from parents species all fit into linked categories, like a chain species change because they develop features in their lifetimes and pass those changes on to their offspring

Answers

Species change due to inherited variation from parents, not because of acquired characteristics passed on from individual lifetimes.

The principle of acquired characteristics posits that species change because they develop new traits during their lifetimes and pass those changes on to their offspring. According to this principle, an organism can acquire new characteristics or modify existing ones based on its environment or experiences. These acquired traits are then believed to be inherited by future generations. However, it is important to note that the principle of acquired characteristics is not widely accepted in modern scientific understanding. The prevailing concept of evolution, supported by extensive evidence, is based on the process of natural selection and genetic variation rather than the direct inheritance of acquired traits. Variation in species arises through genetic mutations and recombination, providing the basis for natural selection to act upon, leading to changes in populations over time.

What advantages did Mehmed have in planning his invasion?

Answers

Answer:

Mehmed II, also known as Mehmed the Conqueror, had several advantages in planning his invasion of Constantinople in 1453:

Strong military: Mehmed had a powerful and well-trained army that included soldiers from various regions of the Ottoman Empire, including the elite Janissary corps. He also had access to advanced weaponry such as cannon and siege engines.

Strategic location: Constantinople was located on the strategic Bosphorus strait, which provided access to the Black Sea and the Mediterranean. This made it an important commercial and military hub, and controlling it would give Mehmed significant economic and strategic advantages.

Superior numbers: The Ottoman army was much larger than the Byzantine defenders, giving them a numerical advantage in battle.

Advanced siege tactics: Mehmed employed advanced siege tactics, such as the use of artillery and the construction of massive siege towers and trenches. He also used psychological warfare, such as sending fake messages to deceive the defenders.

Weakness of the Byzantine Empire: The Byzantine Empire was in a weakened state at the time of the invasion, having suffered from internal divisions and financial difficulties. This made it more vulnerable to attack.

All these factors gave Mehmed a significant advantage in planning and executing his invasion of Constantinople

In the case of American Indians, the United States government created boarding schools, where they were taken away from their families, and stripped off of their cultural identities. They were then forced to live in an environment where they were taught to dress, talk, and behave like white Americans.

The goal was to assimilate them into American culture and make them forget about their cultural identity and heritage. Similarly, immigrants who came to the United States were often required to abandon their language and cultural heritage. Who were the main historical figures in the Mexican American War?

Why was the war important?

pls help me answer these

Answers

The mexican-american war was from April 25, 1845, to February 2, 1848, not many people know about this war because the USA doesn't like to talk about it. This was a really tragic war for Mexico because they lost half their land which is now ours.

Before the mexican-american war, Mexico used to own texas the USA had brought 300 families to texas to harvest the land, Mexico later banned slavery which was a huge income for America and that meant that they couldn't have slaves in texas so they started to rebel, and later with the help of the USA as an independent country, but later joined the USA after many years of trails waiting to become a state of the united states of America.

After Texas left Mexico, America had a desire to expand from sea to sea, so America wanted to buy Mexican land for 30 million dollars but Mexico refused because they were not selling their land. And so America was going to get that land one way or another so they lined their troops along el Rio grande and Mexico still thought they owned that land, Mexico attacked first in desperation to protect their country.

Later into the war, Mexico was losing because the USA had tried new cannon technology by adding a cannon to a horse and that made them move faster, they could get cannon to areas faster than Mexico. Also, Mexico was going through a rebellion because they had no public education and the Mexican people thought that was important.

Mexico did end up losing the war and ended giving most of their land to the usa and america did end up giving 15 million of dollars to mexico, later the american people started moving west, which really helped the usa flourish and be one of the greatest nations.

After all this war president pope was not justified because he went to war because he felt like the west was meant for the people of the usa and we did flush but at what cost mexico suffering because of us.

Analyze How did sedentary societies differ from semisedentary societies and nonsedentary societies?

Answers

Sedentary societies, semisedentary societies, and nonsedentary societies represent different levels of settlement patterns and lifestyle choices. Here's an analysis of how these societies differ:

Sedentary Societies: Sedentary societies are characterized by permanent settlements and a reliance on agriculture or other stable food production methods. These societies have established communities with fixed dwellings, such as villages or towns, where people reside year-round. They engage in intensive agriculture, cultivating crops and domesticating animals, which provide a stable food supply. Sedentary societies often develop complex social structures, specialized labor, and the accumulation of surplus resources. Examples of sedentary societies include ancient civilizations like the Maya, Egyptians, and Sumerians.

Semisedentary Societies: Semisedentary societies exhibit characteristics of both sedentary and nonsedentary societies. They have settled communities but also engage in seasonal or temporary mobility. These societies may have a primary settled base, but some members engage in mobile activities such as herding, fishing, or trading. They often have a combination of agricultural practices and nomadic or seminomadic elements. Semisedentary societies adapt their lifestyles to exploit specific resources or take advantage of seasonal opportunities. Some Native American tribes in North America, such as the Plains Indians, had semisedentary lifestyles.
